Pronunciation

Proper pronunciation of English adds polish to your presentation.  You want to enunciate, or to pronounce clearly. Your reputation and status increases when your pronunciation is precise, accurate and free of foreign accents.

A commonly mispronounced word is "city", which has a short i, sounding like "IH." So, it is not "cEEty", it is "cIHty". It is "vIHdeo", not "vEEdeo."

Be sure to sound out all the letters in a word. It is "oTHer", not "udder". It is pronounced "objecT" not "objeck."
